Borrington Half-Shekel
The Borrington Half-Shekel is currently under development.
All artwork will be sold in Borrington Half-Shekels and an exchange rate with sterling will be in place which will fluctuate according to the market.
The initial Exchange rate will be one pound sterling to one Borrington Half-Shekel. However the Half-Shekels will stay static to the value of the artwork where the English pound will fluctuate.
Therefore if you purchased BS500 for £500 then as as the Half-Shekels becomes more valuable you can purchase artwork at the price you bought the Half-Shekels for.
2009 BS100 = £100 Possibly in 2014 BS100 = £150
I am currently researching into historical and current monetary banking systems. I wanted to create my own currency because I am disgusted with the current banking system. I want to try to show how illegal and profiteering our major high street banks are.
Currency is a public service to trade goods in society with a standardisation of the value of goods. You should not be allowed to make money from money.
Through history there have been important milestones where the power of money has swayed between the money lenders and the citizens of the currency. There have been those through history who have succeeded in steering currency away from the money lenders: Julius Caesar, Henry II with the tally stick leading to Lincoln with the greenback dollar, so there is still hope for us yet.
If you want to know more about the Borrington Half-Shekel or have some relevant information which you think may benefit the currency please e-mail me on info@dekkle.com
